The US are really beginning to notice the massive potential of Kiwi gem KJ Apa as the New Zealander has just been signed on to star in The Last Summer, a romantic comedy being directed by William Bindley.
The actor who began his career starring on Shortland Street, is the only star mentioned by the production company, Gulfstream Pictures, although it also boasts an "ensemble cast".
"KJ is one of today's most talented and sought-after young stars both here and abroad, and we are excited to announce he will lead our ensemble cast," the film's producer said in a statement.
More KJ on our screens? We won't complain about that!
