Home and Away star has undergone emergency surgery to remove brain tumor

The actor who played Chris, Johnny Ruffo, has shocked his fans by revealing he has had emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour.

The 29-year-old shared gory images of himself to his Instagram, showing his post-operation scar.

The cancer was discovered when on Sunday he went to hospital with a migraine, before being rushed into surgery.

He told Daily Mail: 'I am on the mend and feeling positive. Keep me in your thoughts.'

He is awaiting results to see if the tumour is benign or malignant.
